Today I explore the information that GIMP provides about colour. It’s the always helpful histogram, the border average which gives you a nice colour for a background for your image, the colour cube analysis and the smooth palette. The last two are quite exotic and I can think of no way to use them for me.
As I have avoided to discuss Median, Mean and Standard Deviation, help yourself! 
And of course I remind you that the challenge is still open!

When you said, you bought a new camera I first thought you struck a deal a got a D3 or something alike for half the price or so.
A D3 would be nice, but I think I’ll wear out my D200 for some time. I don’t think I have reached the limits there….. And the D3 has quite a price…..

have you guys set up a seperate low def podcast in iTunes? The Hi-def podcast shuts down my old Dell.
It should be there – I can’t check it here. But you can subscribe to the “RSSmobile” feed on the right side of the site in iTunes too, AFAIK.
Rolf, all I see in iTunes is the hi-def version
